Meg Galarza
Meg Galarza, E-RYT 500, a seasoned yoga teacher with a passion for empowering students through the transformative practice of yoga. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Meg is a true pioneer in the industry and the proud founder of YogaOne Studio, which she established in 2004 in Cedarburg.
As an experienced teacher, Meg has had the honor of leading 200-hour and 300-hour teacher training programs, as well as hosting retreats both nationally and internationally. Her extensive knowledge and expertise have earned her a well-deserved reputation as a respected leader in the yoga community.
In Meg's vinyasa flow classes, she seamlessly combines power, creativity, and adaptability, creating an ever-changing experience for her students. Her teaching style incorporates clear instruction and multi-dimensional sequencing, guiding students to let go and surrender to the flow. Through her classes, Meg creates a space where students can connect with their bodies, minds, and spirits, experiencing the profound benefits of yoga on and off the mat.
Meg's journey with yoga began at a young age, as she was born into a family that practiced daily meditation and yoga. At just five years old, she was initiated into Transcendental Meditation (TM). Her deep-rooted connection with yoga led her to Maharishi International University, where she studied Vedic Science, Ayurveda, and Sanskrit from 1989 to 1991. Later, she pursued her B.B.A. in Finance at the University of Iowa, further expanding her knowledge and skill set.
In recognition of her exceptional expertise, Meg was honored as one of the "Top Milwaukee Practitioners" in Yoga Instruction by Milwaukee Magazine in their February 2011 survey of peers in their respective fields. Her commitment to ongoing growth and education is exemplified by her registration as a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), which signifies her completion of teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS).
